I went to see SLF in the late 70's at Dunelm House in Durham City but I can't remember the year, can anyone enlighten me, I think it was 1979 but am not certain, cheers.

No idea, but has anyone seen them in a film or TV program? Watched it at friend's house and we formed a band right there and then! No idea of the name.

My first gig was them in Portsmouth, either 78 or 79. I think the latter. The Donkeys were supporting.

Not sure if they made it over to England before '79 actually. I think there's a gig history on the web somewhere, will have a browse.

Jake Burns was in our local library theatre performing an acoustic set with Dead Men Walking a while ago. Norn Iron had just won something or other so he was wearing a footy shirt. It may have fitted him at one point in the past but the lad had put some timber on! The seams were groaning!
Last time I saw SLF they still did a good show.

Think they supported TRB in '78, so headline tour was '79.

This would've been one to have been at! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

Still going strong, and still sounding good. Yes, Jake has got middle aged! But he still sings great. They are touring in March.
