Ok, I'm in the market for:
1 x down bag for Spring-Autumn bikepacking duties
1 x synthetic bag for 4 season backpacking/general camping

Any bargains to be had out on the interweb?

Thanks!

Can't help you on the down bag, but for general camping you can't go wrong with one of these:

It's not light of course but it's bloody warm! I'm 6'1" and have always found sleeping bags too short and too narrow, but this is easily big enough. Not to mention a bargain at £37.95!

That's fine for car camping but it's heavy & huge for carrying on a bike
Look at the Mountain Hardwear Lamina range for lightweight synthetic bags at sensible prices that pack down well

Yeah, the down bag is for the bike, the synthetic is general camping use (car, beach, festival etc)...

Look for Mountain Equipment and Cumulus for nice lightweight down bags that won't cost millions

Alpkit Pipe Dream. Best bag I've ever had. Use it for bike packing in winter with fleece liner, summer just open with silk liner. Super light but super warm
