daughters 10th birthday coming up, likes to trampoline and do gymnastics in garden and thinking of getting a slackline. We have 1 tree that would be suitable, any suggestions on good options for frames or anchoring the other end of the slackline, options would include side of house, installing some sort of pole or thick fence post or using an anchor in the ground. all options related to slackline companies seem quite pricey, so if other people have used similar things sourced else where I'd be grateful to hear.

thanks

I built a simple wooden A-frame and used a buried ground anchor. Very easy and works well, just need to remember the stuff sticking out the ground when mowing the lawn!

Frame based on this: https://www.slackrobats.com/how-to-build-slackline-a-frame/

But used a buried deadman anchor.

Not so much of a lawn here but the rest is good.  An old 1.5m piece of post buried about 1m down at 90deg and a strap wrapped around it and sticking out of the ground.  Holds the weight of an old mountainbiker no problem so my daughter can jump on it as much as she likes

I did the same as spin but would like to try with a deadman anchor. works well with the ground anchor though.

Some ideas in this video. Including burying an old bike wheel as an anchor.
