You don't review films as a full time job do you?

People who's views I actually trust regarding movies have given it amazing reviews. Some random bloke on a forum, whose user name is new to me, saying its boring, on the other hand, will be treated with the contempt he deserves. 🙄

I saw it last night and, admittedly, wasn't particularly blown away. Casino Royal, Quantum of Solace, Bourne and MI's are much racier, more action packed and more watchable IMO. Okay, the plot does set a scene of things to come but there's far too much folly for my liking.......the opening sequence is spectacular but that's where it ends.

I think the worst bit is the bad guy and his lack of ambition; a whole load of plot and nonsense just to kill one person (a feat he could have achieved far easier than he did). Still, it was nice to dress up, drink champagne, and play on the roulette wheel afterwards.

Boring.

Well that's a bit of a bugger as we were planning on making a bit of a night of it, at the cinema. I guess we'll have to find something else to do.
Is it any wonder the British film industry is having so many problems if they're churning out rubbish like this?

"a feat he could have achieved far easier that he did going about it the way he did" is what I meant to say. Don't want to spoil it for anyone.

Just watched it and found the plot to be dull with a load of great stunts thrown in

If someone on here says 'it's boring'.
Then it probably isn't.

Nice comedy death of the baddy at the end, so much so that I laughed out loud. Much to the annoyance of those around me.

Kids enjoyed it they thought it was better than the last one. Wife still dribbled over Mr Craig 🙄

It was ok thought the plot was a bit week and a few storyline errors, hey ho it's fiction isn't it????

Never liked Bond films, except maybe when I was 10.
They seem like kids films but with far too much adult content.
Saw Skyfall cos someone paid for me and yep, boring describes it pretty well.

At least The Incredibles (which it seemed to nick a load of stuff from) had the good grace to be a cartoon. And funny.

Not sure I'd go and sit through a film I knew I wouldn't like, even if someone paid for me - why would you waste your time?

I'm looking forward to it. Loved Casino Royale, was sure about the Quantum. Prefer this James Bond reboot to anything that's gone before.

Just back from seeing it, didn't find it at all boring

Ticked all the Bond film boxes so I enjoyed it.

It's not a movie classic, but Bond films never are.

Terrible, overly long with the flattest plot ever for Bond. Thats one mean feat.

Bring back hollowed out volcanos ta.

Latest Bourne actor is better. This was Daniel Craigs flattest outing.

The opening sequence is really good, an excellent chase etc . The rest is good fun, not the best of its genre, but watchable. My boy loved it and we had a good curry afterwards..... What movies like this are all about !

its a bond film, were people really expecting something more than... well a bloody bond film?!

i enjoyed it, its not amazing, but i enjoyed it because i went to the cinema expecting a bond film, not a multiple oscar winning epic.

cars = yup
girls = yup
explosions = yup
baddy with silly hair and an accent so we knows he's bad = yup
easily killed henchmen = yep
dry british humour = yup

its a bond film, its more like the old bond films than the previous two so its like they've realised that they shouldn't try and be a british bourne film and that there are elements from the older style that were what people wanted from a bond film.

I didn't really like the last 2, saw it last night and it blew me away!

Easy to keep up with, good plot, and a very diverse film!

The latest Bourne whooped ass. The action in the house and the stunt riders were brilliant

my perspective at odds with many on here -thought it was a good film in its own right,bit more grown up than many a bond film and in fact its biggest weakness is the expectations set by being a bond film

if this was a bourne film people would love it...

just got in - thoroughly enjoyed it, although didn't think much of the bond girl - thought the new moneypenny was far better...

Thought it was great. The plot, like most bonds, was questionable but it had everything else. Also thought that some of the scenes were superbly shot with great use of lighting (Japanese hotel scene for example, won't say more for risk of spoilers).
