Sorry for what might be a silly question but I'm nearly a pensioner & not technically minded.

We have a Sky Signature subscription. If we subscribe to TNT Sports via wifes EE mobile contract does TNT come up on the TV plugged into the Sky box?

Secondly, the EE £10/month offer includes a 43" TV. We have two TV's connected to SKY via Sky box & mini box so if the free TV was in a bed room with no Sky box how does it get the TNT Sport - via wifi?

I don't know the details but I would imagine in all casees the TNT subscription would be watched via a TNT app on a smart TV - that's what I used to do with my Discovery+ sub when watching Eurosport. You might be able to add it to your existing sky subscription by logging in via the TV, not sure about that I'm afraid

Im in similar circs - I get TNT with my (non Sky) broadband) , I can watch TNT on PCs via browser or TVs with fire sticks using Discovery app but ive never got it added to my sky, they appear to want me to pay which isn't going to happen

Not having sky I didn't know the ins and outs but based on the above it would appear it'll be via WiFi using apps either on the TV or some sort of fire stick/Chromecast. My TV is via BT (now EE) and it's all fibre based anyway so everything is essentially an app

Can you record through the App?

dont think so - if you miss something the app lets you watch most recent stuff.  if I go to the cycling page now there is a load of events  (road/track/bmx ... etc) from the last week

You could use your (wifes) phone to watch it on tv.

I used to do that for Red Bull TV

The tv pics it up from your phone with a suitable setting.

You used to have to pay extra to get TNT (BT Sports back then) on your Sky box, and I presume it is the same.

I moved away from a Sky box to full streaming with a BT (EE) box. You don't pay extra this way, but the box is rubbish. The really good a bit about streaming is that you don't have to record, just stream. Downside is that some apps don't get you fast forward through ads (looking at you itvx).

I wouldn't go back to a Sky box now.

I watch Sky sports through NOW TV app and TNT through the Discovery App both via 5g router.  Not sure if it works out cheaper but I dont have to deal with Sky or Virgin again.

If you can get the app on the other TVs then you'll be able to watch it as it's just a normal login for the apps.

Might even be able to via the sky box (e.g. you have to login to the app on the sky stream box, so can use the EE subscription there) but not on the TV channels. I've not used sky q so can't be sure on how the apps there work.

I have Sky Q & TNT Sports (via my EE mobile contract) & have had this for a couple of years.

You need to watch via the TNT app on Sky - if you don't have Sky Q you will need to have the TNT app on your smart TV or Firestick etc.

You used to need to pay extra for it to work on a " Big Screen" but if your mobile contract is the Full Works version then you can get TNT as an inclusive extra & use the app on any device - also up to 4K on TV I think.

You won't be able to view on the Sky TNT channel but will just need to use the app instead.

You cannot record but can just watch later on the app if you choose "watch from the start" (instead of watch live) for something that has already started.

Has worked fine for me with no issues.

If you are on Sky Q then you just need another Sky Q mini box for the new TV.

The mini boxes are £50 each from Sky & can use WiFi or ethernet cable.

I have 3 mini boxes & can watch TNT on any & the main box.

The number of boxes that you can watch together at the same time depends on your main Sky Q box - HD/UHD/1tb/2tb etc.
