So fitted cable and magic eye bits today, and I know that it does control the sky box but the second tv does not recognise the signal. Can anyone help? Been through the various menus on the tv but can't find anything else.
You need to enable power over RF2 on the Sky box. It's in a hidden menu, the HD boxes is Services, 0, 0, 1, Select. Older boxes are a different code.
Or, by "doesn't recognise a signal", do you mean there's no picture? You need to tune it to the analogue station the Sky box is broadcasting on, think mine was 68 by default. You can change it in the same menu as above.

Hi I'm back. How do you get sky remote to do volume control etc...hic! 😛
Have to look up the code for your tv and enter it into the remote..
Can't quite remember how but google will reveal all..
It's something like holding Red and Select and then keying in the relevant code for your TV. You'll have to look it up.
