Anyone been here? taking a couple of first timers so wheres the best part for beginners / nursery slopes etc. And whats the best way to get there from the centre?

I think there are buses to the main areas from the centre.

Its pretty split up into un-linked areas. There are much better places an hour or two drive away but beginners don't really need much I suppose.

Igls is probably the best for beginners and a nice tram ride up from Innsbruck

One other thing to try if you can is a go on the Olympic Bobsleigh run, they take two passengers and its brilliant

2nd Seefeld - it's great for beginners. Used to ski there a fair bit when I lived in Munich.

I think putting them on the ski jump first to see how they go is the sensible option.
