Does anyone actually use Siri on a daily basis?

Just about to swap my 4 for a 4s, mainly for the camera, but obviously Siri also comes along but it just seems like a bit of a gimmick to me. Am I wrong?

Not on iphone, but I use the voice control while driving personally. In public you look like a complete idiot though so I'd not bother!

You are only allowed to use it in Cafe Nero to check what the weather is like outside while you bugger about on your iPad!

Otherwise..... I wouldn't......

Total waste of time. Apart from swearing at it I have never used it at unless you in the USA it's useless

Yes. I use it a lot. If there is not much background noise it works well. More amusingly it doesn't work for MrsG which is an inventive to use it in front of her. It might adapt to the users voice. Annoyingly I can get the voice recognition to work well for me on her car. Technology!!

I wouldn't upgrade from a 4 to a 4S, it's not that big a jump.

5 will be out September.

Some good deals for the 4s now, I'll hold off on the 5 until its been out for a year and I'll pick up a used one.

I'm happy with my 4 with the exception of the camera, hence the upgrade. Only way to get a 5 when they come out on the contract I'd want would be to pay £200+ up front whilst the 4s is free.

If I had a 4s then that's probably the only way I'd regularly use Siri too: in the car or on the bike to dictate quick text messages.

It is definitely a tool for private use if you don't want to look like a ****.

It's crap and next to useless in anything other than a silent environment.

Best thing about the 4s is the Camera - takes great photos in bright light.
