My RAC cover expires tomorrow. I use Tesco clubcard vouchers to pay for it but have forgotten to to get the order processed, meaning I could be without cover for a few days. As a firm believer in sod's law, I know what will happen.
So are there any companies offering say 7-day breakdown cover for less than the cost of an emergency callout?

Autoaid? £39.99 for the year, and you only pay extra if you use a callout.

...in fact. Just use Autoaid instead of RAC.
Or, just make sure you breakdown at roadworks, as they do free recovery 8)
