I remember the good old days when cows were allowed to munch away to their hearts content on Scrapie riddled sheep spines.
How much UK cattle is grass fed?
But what's the grass fed on?
And is that worse for you than the killer red meat?
And does this make grass-fed beef a vegetable?
But what's the grass fed on?
Cow shit. And here ends your lesson on the circle of life.
Cholesterol and fat consumption seems to have been a vast cock-up in the past for example
Couldn't agree more, and that particular super-tanker will take a long time to turn around, I'm thinking.

Fair enough, just so long as you keep your end of the bargain by not complaining about the pain your triple heart by pass is causing you.
As you should know, it's not low carb
That's what they want you to think.
Eat what you choose to and tell the interfering nannies to go do one.

the research was apparently done with corn fed cattle from the USA rather than grass fed uk cattle anyway...
Well, I reckon those American corn-fed cattle respondents to the survey should be ashamed of themselves, eating so much red meat.
I ate 1970s school dinners and survived, arsenic and broken glass hold no fear for me...
That's what they want you to think.

There's been a few people complaining that it's an associative rather than causal analysis, but that's somewhat a misunderstanding of the nature of a lot of research.
Go on then. How is it misunderstanding the research? As I said in my post above, I'm looking for somebody to enlighten me - based on the media reporting it certainly appears to be a correlation rather than a causation.
