hi all
bit of a call for help here
so I had an ad in the STW classifieds for a bit for my van with some interest but no takers
an decided to try ebay after selling some bike bits on there with no worries
so now im bombarded with calls from used car salesmen asking 'ow much in cash if i come over now... one guy got quite abusive in fact
now ive no idea as to my rights/the law etc
so anyone got any tips/advice on what to look out for
do i see the auction through?

Sounds about right...
I had some fairly "persistent" characters. Wife's view was to tell them to p!$$ off. I took the professionally polite "thanks but no thanks" line - they got the message in the end.
FWIW, eBay seems a particularly bad way to sell a car unless it has reached banger status. We got more money (and a lot less hassle) from webuyanycar
yeah it was pretty hectic
Ive some experience with the hard sell but i was shocked at how brazen some folk are, not to mention downright rude
Ill look up webuyanycar dunno if they do vans tho

On the other hand, my mate sold a car on ebay for £100, got paid almost instantly. Nevervgot picked up and Never heard from the guy again.
