There was a cracking graph in that where he had a quadrant titled, "Can road be fun?"

I have spent a while searching and can't find it. Any ideas?

That article perfectly articulates why I still ride a 26 inch hardtail. (The only drawback is that I am slower than everyone else on the techy downs, but I suspect my lack of skill may also play a part... "No, no, it's definitely the bike" etc.)

Turns out I need something to fill the mountain / race corner. Or to put it another way, ive exhausted every budget niche and need something expensive.
