Got some old railings and gates that need getting rid of. How much do you get roughly for scrap metal?

I took some netting wire from around a tennis court, an old transport box,some car batteries and a scrap lawnmower to the scrap yard on Monday. Came home with £140. Thought I might get about £20. 😀

Copper is at least 4 quid a kilo more if it is clean
