I thought this was a nice reminder of how important it is to get out and ride (if you can).
I don't think I'm reading that the way it's meant to be read? Or does it mean that as they ride they get more and more fearful?
The more they ride, the smaller their backpack gets (so they are unloading a chunk of worry and stress as the ride goes on)...
Just in case you've not noticed, swipe left and right on the Instagram post for more explanation!

Doesn't read like that to me. Completely the opposite. Haven't got Instagram so can only go by the posted image.

You can click the right arrow on the above image and scroll thru the different images! Don't need Instagram!
Edit: well, at least you can on my Pixel phone. No idea whether it works on other devices or browsers
Nope. Sometimes my laptop feels quite heavy when I ride to work with it in my backpack. Nearest feeling I get to that 😆

It doesn’t make sense unless you click though, you don’t instagram, it’s a little story told in several images.
You can find the original post under the title of "scared" over on NSMB. Cy posts those picture threads every week or so. Well worth a look through the back catalogue.

I'm reading it on a work PC, so no, I just get the one image. No wonder it made no sense! 🤣

There’s ten illustrations altogether.
Can relate. Haven’t ridden a bike since October, and an MTB in anger since July, not looking good for this (and possibly next) summer either. I’ve been better.
Ahhh! I see! on the ipad you can scroll the pics.
