The British Library has begun "harvesting" the internet to preserve billions of web pages, blogs and e-books which appear on the UK's web domain.

unfortunately STW is on .com so the literary gold that is the forum wont be archived 🙁

To think they've already missed such gems as picolax, badger-no-tubes, many flounces and the Big Cull.

"The regulations now coming into force make digital legal deposit a reality, and ensure that the Legal Deposit Libraries themselves are able to evolve - collecting, preserving and providing long-term access to the profusion of cultural and intellectual content appearing online or in other digital formats"

Maybe they dont mean the forum then...

Whatever happened to the original ST forum? Is it still lurking in a dusty server somewhere in the ST office?
