Bit of an odd one this! Bizarrely, one of my wife's friends has given us a lump of sausage meat, anyone have any good recipes for it?!

Scotch egg roulette

Gifted "sausage meat" sounds more like Russian Roulette to me.

Mix it with a bowl of breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, oregano and an egg. Roll up into wee balls, fry off for a bit to get rid of the far, then add to a nice rich tomato sugo and some spaghetti. Meatballtastic.

Make proper McDonalds McMuffins

Pat out the sausage meat in big arse pastry cutters & pan fry.

Do eggs in same pastry cutters.

Buy Lancashire oven bottom buns. Add cheese. Eat.

That got me laid, true story.

Jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped in sausage meat and then breadcrumbed. Best cooked over coal/wood.

Fry with red onion, rosemary and a bit of chilli, breaking it up so it looks like mince, add some tin tom's, cook for a bit, add some single cream. Serve with pasta. Spicy sausage pasta, tasty.

Fry it up with some onion, garlic and carrot(grated).
Do some pasta.
Bung the mix in to the pasta while it's still hot and stir in some sour cream.
Stir in a big spoonful of Dijon seed mustard to finish.

Roll it into little balls with some herbs and a bit of salt and pepper.
Cook some pasta.
Make a simple sauce with egg yolks, lemon juice, Parmesan and lots of salt and pepper.
Chuck it all together and eat. Simple good food.

Add chunky chopped black pudding, red chillies and spring onion. Roll into sausage shape, wrap a decent sliced cheese round like Gouda and into puff pastry for awesome sausage rolls.
