Last night I watched Smokin’ Aces for the first time since its release. Much enjoyment for me. Brain not needed.

I'm in the same boat and sitting watching 'Fury'
Pretty grim but also pretty accurate I'd imagine.
A very good watch.

As Kuco has already said: Isn’t the default bloke film Blackhawk Down with the sound up to eleven?

If you want something less gung ho, how about the Thin Red Line?

Or Rocky. Or Commando. or how about Platoon?

Failing that, Truly, Madly, Deeply.

An absolute belter. One of my all time favourites. A modern day Falling Down. Who doesn’t love a killing spree? 😃

I presumed the 'laser beams' from the tanks were just the tracers they said were every fifth shot?
Not sure why they were green though?
I stand to be corrected as I'm no expert on tank warfare.
I enjoyed it but I'm easily pleased.

I’m at work but I have f all to do, so I’m watching “Hero” on my ipad. I haven’t watched it since it first came out, and I’m enjoying it.

Bit late now but Upgrade is a good sci-fi / action film.

DezB - What we do in the shadows series is definitely as good as the film. There is also Wellington Paranormal which follows the two cops from the film. That’s really good too

Watched Calibre instead- good film .

That is very uncomfortable watching. Very good film.

Watched The Hitman’s Apprentice. Darkly comedic with the excellent Tim Roth
And the brilliantly versatile Peter Mullan.

Bad Moms. Predictable, shallow & crass in parts, but it was funny.
