Given the expertise here for all things military and political combined with the limitless number of simple answers to complex questions, I can see why the Russians would try to shut it down.
The vibe is generally pro democracy and it's a fairly high profile site so I'd believe it if it was Russian bots. My partner is involved with the Open Democracy website and that is attacked on a regular basis
I know that some of the denizens at Singletrack Towers sometimes check in on this forum, it'd be interesting to know!

Nah he'd still be riding an expensive XC MTB from 2002 and telling anyone who'll listen he can still ride down anything on it just fine and the modern stuff is just marketing led nonsense. And inviting you to lift it to see how light 19lbs is and even expensive modern bikes weigh twenty seven pounds and this self-evidently makes them awful.
