We know Scotland s problem is the front row. I think that'll lose it for us, after 30mins of being bossed on the set piece well lose a player.

Forwards decide who win backs by how much.

I am not too worried about the starting front row.  Seasoned international props and a hooker in fine form - they should be able to hold up the scrum.  We will miss the work of the likes of Fagerson in the loose.  The subs are very much another matter tho

Scotland will be hoping for* front row injuries and uncontested scrums!

*Or engineering them somehow...

Ruddy nerves are taking hold.  Too often in the past I have had to watch Scotland from behind the sofa its been such a scary prospect.  this time I suspect I will be on the porcelain throne with the shites

Can't wait now. Wales Scotland is the game of the weekend for me.....as a neutral I'm hoping for a hell of a contest. Too close to call, form says Scotland, but Wales are always better come 6n's time. Injuries favour Scotland overall, but as has been said, with the potential for carnage come scrum time, will Scotland keep 15 on the pitch?

Shout out to Sale Sharks player and all round good bloke Byron Mcguigan, starting for Scotland today. Met him a few months back after the match and even though he'd been red carded was still having a chat to all of the travelling fans (we had just won an away league game for the first time in 16 months mind!)

NOpe - Gilcrest will get a yellow card within minutes of getting on the pitch

Wales U20s had a reasonably easy win against the Scots last night. The Scots were a stroppy bunch, niggling, pushing and shoving. A couple of times they slapped Welsh players on the back, tapped them on the head, for missing passes or making mistakes. I wonder if their coaching team pointed out the irony in doing this when they couldn’t put together a long enough string of passes  to score a try?

I find myself rooting for Wales also,  probably not a good thing as I'm about to spent a week working in Edinburgh.

Time to get a beer in...

good luck all - lets hope it lives up to the expectations of a entertaining game and does not turn on a controversial reffing decision or piece of stupidity

I feel nauseas. Hope neither team pick up any injuries. Wish Scotland well, but hope Wales get any lucky bounce of the ball 😀.

Haha that really was mental when Bergamasco was at 9!

Hell of a game for the neutral so far!

Russell has looked a bit hit and miss today. Some good stuff but some bad stuff too.

Scottish front row is doing ok.

Wales seem happy to let Scotland have ball knowing that they'll make mistakes and our defence is rubbish.

Scotland should be happy with the score line?

Buggeration.  A gift then another gift - plus Scott Williams is bossing the centres.  Oh boy we are missing Dunbar and Taylor

"Scotland should be happy with the score line?"

Really? - we gift Wales two chances and make a mess of our own?

Scotland haven't really looked like scoring since the 8th minute!

Just in that 21:0 would be very hard to come back from, but since Scotland are such a prolific try scoring team, they are still well in the game.
