Halfpenny though, what a kicker.
Gauss - ok - point taken
Matty - indeed - two great conversions
Got to love Andy Nicoll and Scotland making 'good mistakes'...not sure there's such a thing when they've barely fired a shot.
Line out has fallen apart too. Scottish back row are being outplayed so far.
No one has mentioned Wilkinson yet. Is this a record?
The front row advantage hasn't materialised for Wales but better in all other respects
Nicol is a legend. Tam O’Shanters off to his eternal optimism.
Thoroughly enjoyable to watch
Scotland have created an extra man wide a few times but wasted it. Errors are killing us.
Will Wales revert to being more pragmatic? Can toonie find some tactical answer?
Bighand for the ref making scrums a fair contest and giving the turnovers Missed a few forward passes for both sides tho 😉
I have an appalling memory, but iirc Wales were comfortably ahead last year, only to go and get beaten. Not time to relax any yet!
Dear mods. If Wales lose this please go for a preemotive ban!!!
I can’t see Scotland coming back now.
Ah, Greg Laidlaw is on - isn’t he one of the players who should have been a Lion?
Another false dawn? I actually feel sorry for Scots fans at the moment, it always promises to happen and then fizzes into shit.
Enjoying Patchells performance - best 10 on the park? (Apart from reminding me if that bloke on W1A)
and 1/2p !!!
well done wales
Can anyone get to TJ asap?
Thought this was meant to be “Scotland’s year”??
"

Not last tour
Time to start singing 😀😀😀😀
For me its Partchell and Scott Williams along with Navidi who have won wales this game.
Scotland looked back to the bad old days with heads dropping after that early 14 pt gift and of course that gave Patchell licence to play which he has taken with aplomb
In now interested in Scotland V Italy all of sudden...
Try!
Bring back Big Vern
Too soon krypton. Getting stuffed here will make the Scots all the more determined to beat us at Murrayfield. There must be a backlash after this
But the Scots were super determined, to show Gatland what they could do 😉
Very impressed with Josh Adams not really put a foot wrong in an international debut
How has AWJ got any energy left?
****ing forward pass surely
No one would have predicted this. Credit must go to Gatland as well I guess
I wasn't that confident of a win but I was not expected a beating like this
Some new faces on the Welsh side maybe a good idea, they started playing straight away rather than leaving it till the last 20 mins to start playing 🙂
Halfpenny though, another conversion! The guy just don't miss.
Shingler has been superb
#PrayforTJ
I love 1/2p and great to see him back to his best
what kicking
A final try to keep Nicol happy
bravo Wales - great to watch
skull attack all round
Scotland didn’t deserve that try.
The France v Ireland game could be as exciting. Can’t wait.
Time to get the Gin out I think - or is it whisky and a revolver - or is that for Toonie?
Game won, in an attacking position and he kicks it out of play WTF!@
Lets hope the championship doesn't come down to points difference. Anyway well done Wales 😁
Scotland awesome in the autumn awful in the six nations. As ever.
Very good performance by Wales, too many Scottish players looked to be out of their depth. Centers both poor for example.
I was gutted that Wales didn’t manage to hold them out for a nil.
For all the hype about Hogg he was outshone by Halfpenny who had a fab game.
Scotland’s much vaunted backlije did very little, the back row didn’t have much impact and the line out was woeful. Trouble is I’m worried that means they’ll be very good in a couple of weeks.
Wales looked pretty good. The new faces certainly injected something. Nice to see Adams go well.
My take on it? Scotland in the first half had more than parity but couldn't get anywhere in midfeild so everything had to go wide. Scott Williams I thought along with Navidi was excellent in stopping scotland getting anywhere in the middle of the park
The early easy points gave Patchell confidence to go for everything and today was his day.
Scotland vaunted backs? Unfortunately a fine 10 and back 3 won't cut it if the centres are doing nothing in attack and McGuigan took a bunch of wrong options. No big ball carrier in the forwards either.
Second half was back to the bad old days of looking like a beaten team. No kick chase, dropping off tackles.
For Wales the early gifts gave them the confidence to keep on attacking. Better all round game.
El Vino - you do realise Scotland are missing five centres all of who would be picked certainly before Harris.
Are you really going to start bringing up who was missing!!!!
I'm Welsh so biased, but Wales seemed to be a lot tighter, and more refined than in recent years.
Wales dominated every aspect of that game, combined with Scotland imploding on basic fundamentals.
Job jobbed for Wales. I couldn’t have hoped for a better start to the 6N.
rhys - just a coment for the poster who said the scots centres looked out of their depth.
But Wales were missing the likes of JD2 in the centres.
Scotland were poor today. Maybe it was just one of those days.
