Lovely handshake between Zebo and Maitland there. Sportsmen.

Noted, Dan! 62A/K FTW! Got HKG and SIN soon, as well as SYD. Will be in touch.

Yep, somehow Scotland are are not looking like they are going to win this, which after the first half there's no way I'd have thought!

Ireland look excellent this half but one attack by Scotland and anything could happen

I can drink while I'm doing it, too! 😀

Squeaky bum time for both sides here. Really tight game.

Scotland look knackered. There are no supporters for breaks etc.

This penalty could seal it...

This really has been a game of two halves!

Surprised they didn't kick the points then, but it doesn't let ok like it's going to cost them.

What a game...

Ireland seemed to play their socks off to get back into it and take the lead.
Then they relaxed.

Well played Scotland, beating the favourites for the championship.

Hogg is a dick, but he was very, very good especially in the first half.

Couple of silly penalties and it all goes wrong. They'd been very good discipline wise until that point.

Could we see the 2 favourites GS hopes both dashed inside the first week?

[quote="CaptainFlashheart"]

3 Scotchish tries in one half of rugby? What sorcery has TJ created?

Wisnae me 😯

That was rather exciting! hope the neutrals enjoyed the drama. Just for 30 mins there they really clicked

Its about time these boys showed what they can do and we finally won a close game. I said at halftime scotland would have to score again to win. I thougth I was going to have a conuption

Think Ireland were lucky not to be pinged for in at the side a rucks. Not saying Scotland were innocent just not as blatant.

Take it refs have given up on the straight put in at scrums. Most seem to be put in just in front of the flanker.

Ickle Jonny - 28 tackles but he missed 2, 6 passes 14 carries for 8m of cleaning up shite

Match stats do not make pretty reading tho in general. Watson did a fine 7 job of being a bloody pest. Barclay an important turnover or two. Immense defensive performance all round Scotland won the turnover battle

Oh crap. TJ has made a good point!

😉

No one made any comment about the ref all game. The sign of a well reffed game, surely.

Yes, and no TMO interventions every 3 minutes for minor incidents helps too.
No yellow for the high tackle at the end correct too, as no intent and no force.

Awful start by England so far.

Looks like the wheels are about to come off Eddie's chariot. Gulp.

That English line out was dire.

Good to see that england don't have to adhere to the rules this year.
