Not so sure about england beating france well. We have a 5 at 6, a 6 at 7 and a 13 at 14. Robshaw and billy are massive losses for the team. Massive french pack, and NZ only just beat them recently. I predict a frantic game.
Ireland too physical for the scots but close score, wales will beat Italy to a bloody pulp.

I think England will struggle but pull away and win by 12 in the last 20.
Ireland will beat scotland by 5-10.
and I am trying not to think about Italy Wales....

I'm going for....

France to edge it.
Scotland beating Ireland in a wet drudge of a game.
Wales to struggle past Italy in a dreadful performance.

England will struggle, especially in the scurm. Their defence needs to be good because there will be some big lumps heading their way.

Itoje at 6 isn't to bad because he's played there a reasonable amount for Sarries, Wood has played seven a lot for England and done Ok and Eddie seems les obsessed about an out and our seven these days (probably because there isn't one....). As for the backs, other than FH and SH I think England will take a more Aussie approach where the good players just fit in and are adaptable (e.g. Beale).

I think Ireland will pip Scotland and smother Scotland in a very SA approach.

Wales will squeeze past Italy. They always start slowly.

Is anybody going to the Wales v Scotland match on the 25?
I've got tickets - as well as a large credit card bill now! - and am just wondering what time I should get there.
Kick off is 2.25pm.

2.25pm

*RAGE!*

What's wrong with 1430? Or even better, on the hour? These stupid KO times ......

Aye, crazy.

I hope it's not a trend of copying Wendy with silly kick offs.

First late hit on Connor? 10 - 12 minutes, whatcha wanna do?

My predictions:

Ireland too strong for Scotland playing a forward based power game around slow ball - hope I'm wrong. I'd love to see a Glasgow style running rugby fest give Scotland the win.

England to just edge France after a close match.

Wales end up comfortably beating Italy probably after not really playing for at least a half.

Done cycling, on couch, have beer here we go. England to win by 10 points over France. Ireland the same over Scotland.

Game over for Scotland if they can't sort that scrum.

Bad news that's happened so early in the competition when they've yet to face the French & English scrums. Could be a sore point in a few weeks.

Oh hold on - great Try!!

Excellent finishing from Scotland - even if it means A Nicol will have run out of Kleenex - and good forthe neutral that Ireland have scored, Odd to see the Irish failing to take thieir earlier chances.

Wow, smart thinking there!!!! Excellent to see Scotlamd take their chances so well. Well played.

Scotland playing really well. Ireland look a bit one dimensional and inaccurate.

If Ireland sort the lineouts, this scrum dominance must count in the end.

Ireland very predictable - 1 out, bosh.

The scrum is about the only thing working for Ireland at the moment.

Scotland would be even better if Laidlaw stopped pointing and started passing instead.

Jeez. When I saw the scrum crumbling I thought we were going to get a pasting. Fantastic half. Still don't ave the confidence to believe they'll still be ahead at the end mind

England U20's did a number n France earlier today - 57 17!

Scotland have missed a lot of tackles so far, but if they keep scoring tries they'll be reet. Hopefully they'll play with the and mindset after the break and not just defend a lead.

Flashy - there was a cover tackler for Zebo, hence the kick.

Heading out to an Irish bar here in San Fran for the second half, eng game and a full Irish brekkie!

The Scots are playing with belief and confidence. They're backing themselves to be able to open and exploit gaps.
I don't know if we're going to win, but the players don't think they're going to lose.
The Irish don't believe they're going to lose yet, but they're nervous, going for the safe bang it in option - but the Scots defence so far are loving the tight hard tackling that offers.

@ Flashy.

There's been debate about who should be first on the Lions plane. Then you post that about Tipuric. Debate over.

I wonder if Scotland can keep up this level of physicallity in the tackle. The sheer amount of tackles will have to take there toll?

No they **** havent!!

According to the match stats they have. They'd missed 12 after 20 mins or so, which was a high percentage of their total tackles.
