First time at Murrayfield thanks to friends with season tickets. After 6 mins I thought we'd be leaving early for the pub. After 60 minutes I thought we were the lucky charms and would be sorted for future tickets. By the end normal service was resumed.

I can believe that close to the line we failed to control the ball but the defending team is required to release when it goes to ground and unless our ball carriers were octopuses then that was not happening.

Yes tj, and we were beaten. But in all these games what is obvious is the breakdown is a mess. Arguably it cost Scotland the game, it cost France Danty.
Watching France Australia everytime France went to jackal aus flopped onto the shoulders effectively collapsing it. Which should be a pen to France but went against them. Both teams on Sunday got away with shenanigans and we probably would still have lost but hands on, not releasing and not supporting your own weight should be pinged.

This. Despite everything, it still permeates all levels of the game. Common in the junior ranks when my eldest played. It was a 'hit as hard as you can I'm bigger and tougher than you' mentality. Not from the coaches I'll add, from the playing group.
