Why are England playing in white? I like the Japan kit, but I do particularly like their usual white and red kit. Not sure about England’s kit today, I kinda like it, but it makes me think of Texas chainsaw massacre for some reason.

The Wales game was a good watch. Argentina seemed very out of sorts, lacked a lot of focus. Wales on the other hand played with good line speed, aggressive in the tackle, and their tactical kicking was on the money.

Barnes’ first comment was that DuPont was in no position to catch the ball, but from my eyes he would have caught it if Kolbe had not been there. Kolbe leaps a long way forward to get to the ball (obviously this is a common tactic). Surely it is the act of jumping so high and so far forwards into the path of others that is the dangerous part in this?

I feel more sympathy for PSDT. The fact that refs allow you to dive into rucks head first off your feet all the time means that sooner or later you will smack someone in the head. If refs police off feet entry to rucks it would make the game so much safer.

That second half was tough for Scotland. They started it so bloody strongly as well! Really felt for the yellow carded guy - such an instinctive reaction and he must feel like he cost his team the game this evening. Fair dues though, he damn near made it look like it was an attempted tackle. 😀 New Zealand really do look as beatable as I’ve seen them this year.
