One of the roof rack mounting points on my rather scruffy Mondeo has corroded resulting in the threads stripping. Can any one suggest a repair solution?

Should be able to get it re-tapped for a slightly larger bolt, or perhaps drilled an a helicoil insert added to take it back to original size. Ask in a garage.
