I was about to say the one in Poole is great too. But yeah, top place to stay.

Is a great place to stay, they sometimes do discounted rates for the weekends as well as the rooms get used quite a bit during the week for crew and delegates on training courses. Good base for a ride in the Purbecks. Oh and the food is top nosh.
Oooooh - my 10 year old loves all things RNLI, that may be an option for a trip down there sometime soon
