Ok, not exacty a household name but a funny man nonetheless.
I remember him in Fawlty Towers all them years ago. Classic innocent comedy.
82yrs...not a bad innings.

I remember him as a one-armed dishwasher in Robin's Nest. Never realised he was the guard in Stardust.

O'Reilly: You'll have to worry for the both of us. I tell you, if the Good Lord---
Basil Fawlty: ---is mentioned ONCE more, I shall move you closer to him!

Shame that The Builders is widely regarded (including by John Cleese) as the only poor episode of FT. Kelly is great in it.

RIP.

Yeah I like the Builders too and agree on the Anniversary which I find pretty grating in places. Apparently John Cleese cited a general lack of laughter in the studio on recording day. He recalls that members of the Icelandic Broadcasting Corporation were visiting the studio that day and many of them were in the front row seats, apparently not entirely amused.

Wow he was always popping up in films and sitcoms. Been in the acting game since 1951!!

Last saw him in the rather dire remake of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.
RIP
