He was a hefty chap always found him a bit creepy
He was the subject of one of the funniest lines in a film
Monty you terrible c*** 😆
RIP 🙁
Always liked him in Pie In The Sky.
Awe Pie in the Sky was awzumnez ..
What a shame he's passed away..
🙁
RiP.
A great actor.
Did great justice to the character of Uncle Monty.
Didn't realise how young he was.
paid the price for carrying all that extra weight...
I mean to have you, even if it must be burglary
The bloke was a legend! RIP 🙁
As a child I used to weep in butchers shops.
They have a clip of him on the bbc from Withnail and I. It's probably the only part of the film where they're not swearing or talking about buggery.
Shame. Introduced my GF to Withnail & I just last weekend.
Uncle Monty was his finest hour 🙂
Only vintage wine and memories.
RIP
Really rather sad about this, RIP.
'Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on.'
RIP Adrian de la Touche
Montegue Withnail, you must know him. Fat man, owns the cottage.
Parkin:
Ay, seen the fat man. London type. Queer sort. Think his name's
French or something.
Withnail:
French!?
Parkin:
Ay, Adrian de la Touche. He hasn't been up year for couple of
years. Last time I saw him, he were; he were with his son.
I:
Yeah, that's him.
Brilliant in "The History Boys". R.I.P.
Flowers are essentially tarts, prostitutes for the bees.
RIP
Saw him in The History Boys in the West End, his performance was utterly brilliant, held the stage and the audience in his hand, his performance in Withnail is fully deserving of its status too...
I really liked him in a sitcom called "A Kind of Living" with Frances De La Tour, he was a bloody good actor.
I used to love Pie in the Sky when i was little. RIP.
