I'm ok with the outcome..
But not the motive.
But who am I.
To be fair I'd have stuck anyone in who was driving when they were unfit. This instance just proved a wee bit of personal satisfaction due to history.
nonk+1(one day he'll get his revenge)i hope ๐ฏ
Yeah but if it is true (and tbh with your history who can trust you?), why do you feel the need to air such things on here? Are you seeking some sort of affirmation that your actions were right?
Your personal differences and his medical condition/fitness to drive are two separate issues, surely?
Would you have (theorectically of course who knows with Glupton) dobbed him in if youse two got along well?
Would I have dobbed him in if we got on well? If he wasnt going to do the right thing and give his licence up then yes I would. Knowing him, it's something he would never have done.
I am going to wait a few more years before i serve my cold dish! ๐
i had a right side one for around two years that came and went over a two week cycle if the diabetes related version is a constant thing then i stand corrected and apologize for the nobhead comment but i do still think it's a fairly twisted thing to do.
Hmmm, very interesting...Do you drive? Do you ride your bike on the road, near children's faces?
If you dislike him that much why not tell him to his face that he shouldnt be driving and if he doesnt stop then you will tell the DVLC. Leave the ball in his court. Surely thats a win win.
Coward.
Spoke to the bloke on tuesday of this week. We have settled our differences and he is glad that he no longer has the pressure of feeling he needs to drive. He apologised.
Strange how things work out.
I wasn't aware that there was a mechanism for getting someone's license revoked. I thought it was a self-surrender based process.
I'm delighted that you got closure.
Indeed.
Strange how things work out.
Assuming you're telling the truth of course.
everyone loves a happy ending and i am glad that in a land far far away that they all lived happily ever after.
Didn't see this when it came up.
How thorougly unpleasant.
A few years ago my mother inlaws new husband and me had a horrendous falling out and haven't spoken since and probably never will again. He is a particularly nasty piece of work - that's all you need to know.Anyway during the last couple of years he has developed peripheral neuropathy as a complication arising from his poor management of diabetes. This affects his legs and more recently his arms. I recently found out that he was still driving so decided to stick him in to the DVLA. No more licence for him.
At least he didnt kill anyone.
A 85-year-old driver who crashed into five charity cyclists killing one and seriously injuring another has been given a six-month suspended jail term.Huw Edwards, who had seemed oblivious to the collision and had to be told by his wife Mabel in the passenger seat that there had been an accident, had suffered a deterioration in his health in the months beforehand.
Banking consultant Gareth Crockett, 27, was killed during the leukaemia charity cycle ride on the A55 at Llangefni on April 13 in broad daylight.
District judge Andrew Shaw sitting at Llandudno Magistrates' Court said it was a very serious act of carelessness to fail to see someone in the circumstances.
Edwards, of Salem Steet in Bryngwran was also banned from driving for ten years
