Hi all.
So when does old tech become Retro?
I found my original 1st gen Ipod in a draw and don't really know what to do with it.
Is it old enough to be desirable ? or is it just old crap ?
It's in perfect condition and far too nice to throw away.
what do you think?.

Funny you mention that, I recently threw out an old pair of jeans, but found one of the original microwave ovens in there. The original original, where the molecules were vibrated by a motor which shook the oven about and the dish was vertically mounted.

just stick it on ebay and see what it brings (and I'd accept oversees bids as I sold a broken later generation ipod for more than I ever expected to a buyer in the Netherlands...I think the weak pound helps)

I found a pair of jeans in one the original microwave ovens. The ones that worked by physically vibrating the water molecules.
On a similar note I have a very good condition Canon T70 which could be very desirable to the right person but has loitered in a drawer in my house for 4 years very unloved. seems the yanks on ebay like em but cant give em away here in nz.
