I demand to see a copy of your Cycling Proficiency badge before you make any more posts on this forum.

Teachers have to provide originals of all qualifications when they get offered a job at a new Local authority.

Only if you're genuinely Irish.

That's bizarre - employers these days only want to know about the past 10 years, in most cases.

If I was the same ambitious, enthusiastic kid I was when I passed my o levels, I might actually be of use to someone! 😆

Did you have to fill in the application form using a quill! Just who is it you've gone to work for

I've just recently submitted my application for corporate membership / CEng registration.

I had to provide certified copies of my post school certificates and details of my courses.

they came back asking me for start dates. For 1982, 1987 and 1990... Er... August? September?

I then reminded them I am already stage 1 registered so it was all irrelevant anyways 😂

Turns out they’re not that bothered for an old git like me, more important for fresh out of school or recent graduates.

But it’s good to know I can get replacements if I really need to

if like me you forgot which boards you did your exams with there are two main ones  (midland and southern were taken over)

AQA and OCR. Both have a search facility but charge you for the privilege. They wont issue new certificates but provide a certifying statement of your results.

I paid £160 to search gcse and a level results. I got both boards to search as I didn't know who I did my exams with. My old school had my results but not the boards.  It can take up to 4 weeks.
