I've got a Panasonic Digital Converter Box - (TU-CT41) and I've lost the remote control. I noticed that there are replacement remotes on Ebay. I'm assuming they will work ok? They don't need programming to the receiver of something like? Apologises for the stupid question.

Some units are working in the same frequency.
Samsung and LG remotes work on the same brand sets if not too old.

Yet to try it, but some mobile phones like my Xiaomi Mi A2 has an IR Blaster app, to use your mobile as an alternative remote control for some gadgets.

I bought a snide Panasonic remote off Ebay. Didn’t need any programming.Better than the original.
