I put some pics on of the engine and cockpit of a Pfalz DXII I was making, I've only finished it after nearly three years now!

I am a slow worker ๐Ÿ˜€

I manage to finish maybe one a year. I'm much faster at buying them though. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

nickc; 1/32 wingnutwings kit, the lozenge camo on the wings are decals supplied with the kit and took ages to fit.

nairnster; post yours, I'm interested.

Squidlord; thanks, I think it's one of the best I've done.

thepurist; they normally just sit around until they get broken, the fun for me is making them. I gave my Me262 to my 3 year old grandson to play with, lasted about 10 minutes before the undercarriage and back wings were off ๐Ÿ˜€

Nice work nairnster. I particularly like the weathering on the F4 and the P51's. The 109 is very good as well. I think it's harder to make 1/72 kits look good than the larger scales.

I like 1/48 scale myself and my next kit is a B26 Marauder. I have a fascination for these aircraft as I often cycle past their old bases at Chipping Ongar/Willingale, Matching, and Great Dunmow.

These are the last two I did. My wife is away for a week next month and I fancy doing a Fiesta WRC kit.

They are 1/148 scale. The excavator is about an inch long.

Although reading the text he seems to take diecast models and paint and detail them rather than building from kits.

So, after the Pfalz I thought I would do a nice and easy 'out of the box' build and chose a Revell/Monogram 1/48 B26 Marauder. I looked at it and thought 'those raised panel lines look a bit rough, I'll rescribe them'...

https://goo.gl/photos/8axQwR3Cu1BkvpRk6

Then I thought I'd by an etched brass detail set, that turned into an Eduard Big Ed set....

https://goo.gl/photos/ZJqhEUTp5UMJXAND9

Might as well add some decent guns as well...

This may be a long job as well! ๐Ÿ˜€
