On Friday I watched Scrooge, (the proper one from 1951 with Alastair Sym)
and last night it was A Wonderful Life.

Any recommendations for some Classic Christmas movies?

Elf, and a Muppet's Christmas Carol.

I'd love to go to Fozzywig's Christmas party!

I third Bad Santa. Best Christmas film I have seen and brings on a smile when you are getting stressed with relatives, family issues or just want a break from the whole thing.

I refer to my wife as 'Mrs Santa's sister' quite regularly now...

Not sure why people are recommending something other than Die Hard. It's got everything you need: Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman, a Christmas party that gets out of hand and importantly a happy ending!

Not sure why people are recommending something other than Die Hard.

Because Edmund Gwenn in Miracle On 34th Street doesn't keep screaming the oedipal compound noun & blowing people up? ๐Ÿ™‚

It can only be Elf

Die Hard 2 feels much more Christmassy, in my opinion.

Good call with Irreversible, but my ten year old daughter would struggle with the narrative....

Two glasses of wine (add more to taste if seasoned drinker) followed by The Grinch.

Gets my vote for the dumbest, most patronising Xmas film of all time...

Nah, it's a fantastic film - just written for a different age, is all.
