hi, can anyone recommend some mash-ups? Either post up a link or send an mp3 through, i'm trying to explain the concept to some friends who are struggling to understand the concept. I think it will be easier to play them some... Thanks

Kona was good last year, not sure how to put it on a mp3 though.

seek out some output from Coldcut backcatalog, eg 'Solid steel' radio shows...

renowned for the 'Cut & paste' style, which precedes the mashup genre that is now prevalent in media & technology offerings

Soulwax probably is your best bet. Look out for mixtapes from dj yoda and dj ztrip too.

thanks very much everyone - I think I've managed to create some new fans of the genre, although the favourite was a queen/outkast one we found on youtube ๐Ÿ™‚
