I was hunting round for an ipod dock hifi but then it dawned on me that all I really need is a good high quality pc speaker set up with good speakers and a sub and just plug the aux in to the ipod. Can anyone recommend me some good speakers/sub for no more than £80?

I have some JBL creature speakers. 2.1 and come in a variety of colours. Sound quality is, in my opinion, exceedingly good,

I have the creatures 2, they are great, sub l0oks a like a stormtroopers helmet though 🙂
