Was hoping to do the HONC this year but have missed out on tickets so can anyone recommend some well organised events for this year (no 24hr jobbies)

OP, there's still some HONC tickets left, that haven't been released yet due to the cock-up at the weekend. Even if you don't get one of those you'll find people selling them on here nearer the date.
If the HONC was the type of thing you were interested in,then you could try the Bucks off road sportive. Originally set up by riders who enjoyed HONC and wanted to do their own version . I prefer it as there's less people so you don't get the congestion and ,IMO better trails. Entry is open now. Annoyed I can't do it this year as I'm already booked uo that weekend.
Kielder 100.
It's a beast.
Quite fancying Gorrick this year.
I'm aiming for:
- HONC
- 24/12 (12 hr though)
- Mayhem (solo as usual)
- Manx end-2-end
Happy days !
