We heat the workshop using fan heaters in winter, as we're not in it that often. However, all the heat rises and you end up with the top 1.5m being super warm, but at standing level it's not warmed up much. So, I'm thinking some form of large volume, low speed fan to circulate the warm air back down. Any suggestions?
The Apex bit ends up super warm...

A ceiling fan would be the obvious suggestion - most of them are reversible to circulate hot air down, and they are close to silent.
What he said.
If you want something standalone instead, Meaco.
