So far the Samsung 5500 is the one I keep looking at for£370 on richer sounds. I have looked at 3d sets but think thats a feature I won`t often use.
Anything else I should consider for similar money.The Panasonic or Sony equivalents for example? Also heard that Toshiba are meant to be good budget sets.
The smart features sound good on paper but how good are they in the real world?
Some of the new Blu ray players have wifi connectivity so would I be be better off without the smart features and adding Smart enabled Blu ray later with what I would save on not having it on the set? Will the Smart features such as I player even work given that I only get 4mb and I will be running it via a Sky Freesat box? (Terrible Freeview terrestrial signal here.)
