Google is trying to make me interested in Rebel Wilson. Why?
I've never once clicked on a single article about her, or spent a grubby half hour trawling for bikini shots, but everyday I get all sorts for Rebel Wilson based stories pushed at me. Why? Is a 50 something from Manchester her target demographic?
I miss the days when it was the bombardment of Taylor Swift stories that used to get me mildly irritated.
To be honest, I think she's mildly more entertaining/worth your time than Taylor Swift.
A) She can be funny at times, I've seen a couple of interviews and I think she did a Travelman that I quite liked.
B) Didn't she take some tabloid new outlets to court over something and win? I forget, seemed like quite a worthy cause.
So... as actors/esses/celebs go, she's a bit more interesting that average, but otherwise unless you like her films then still not really worth a click.
Edit: yeah, sued some big magazine corporation for some nasty take down type articles which were accepted to be largely false, although she was made to repay a lot of the settlement later as it was appealed for being too much.
I like her, comes across as a smashin lass.
I'm not bothered about her, I'm just interest in knowing whey Google thinks I should be.
Have you been searching for fun loving women perhaps? Or someone on a google linked device?.
Who?
Kate Garaway for me, no matter how many times I tell Google I don't care about her or the daily mirror up they pop.
[deleted - Not the happy outcome I was hoping to see]
Trying to post a pic? I feel yer pain.
I have no idea if she's a sound lass or not, but the characters she plays are always, without fail, irritating as shit.
I find her utterly unwatchable
A bit like jim carey from a few years back.
It’s paid for advertising - and if mentions on Social Media is the measure of success, it seems to be working.
You haven't accidentally clicked "follow" while looking up the cast of a film in Google for one of those "they look familiar but not sure from what" moments have you?
Made that mistake once and got a shed load of dreary guff from Google about them for several days until I figured out what I'd done. You can undo it by going to the celebs Google result and there should be an unfollow type option near their picture.
Edit: the button is called "Get Notified" and is just under the celebrity's name.
*No celebrity has been Google stalked in the making of this post.
I saw the interview with the guy from the SAS fitness show (I don’t watch TV so apologies) with her doing an in depth one on one show. He asked her the most frightening thing that had happened to her. No spoiler, but your opinion of her will climb dramatically when you hear her reply. Prior to that, I’d never heard of her.
Perhaps you’re being bombarded due to this show?
It seems to have worked, it’s got you talking and thinking about her 🙂
Instagram is the one I can’t work out, I don’t really use it but have maybe 15 or so people I know that I follow, a couple of kitesurfing and biking pages and a few camper van / van life things. If I click on the browse/ search button it just shows me pages of women in bikinis with the odd mountain bike picture and van dotted about. I mean, I’m not really complaining, but I have no idea what it’s basing it on 🤷🏻♂️
Someone else in your house looked her up? Anything I look for pops up on my wife's tablet. She gets bombarded with chain reaction type ad's, stuff like hebtroco where I've followed a link from here or the latest is I've been looking for hiking boots so now she's gets ad's for mountain warehouse etc'.

Could have just stopped there, tbh
I get Rangers football club in my Google feed despite having zero interest in football and even less in Rangers
