It's not complete. Got more tools to add.

I found the metal on a flytip whilst ourt riding, went back later in the car 🙂 part of a shop display racking.

Next stage drawing deadlines around each tool.

2/10. Needs way more shiny expensive bikey tools. Extra points for tools the individual doesn't really need to own - facing tools, alignment tools etc. Would also like to see a workbench, workstand, and of course some sort of beverage holder for getting your mid-tinker booze on.

The hammers in the box.

I like the thought of the drinks holder though.

The workmate is out of shot.

-2 for those 'adjustable spanners' no proper mechanic would display those things.

+1 for the lonely Stanley screwdriver 😆

You definitely get points for using stuff you found. It needs some more bike specific tools though.

And you get +ve points for the sign, not -ve. Fact.

Pliers (and screwdrivers) courtesy of Aldi it looks like to me. I have no idea how I know that as I would never go and pick up a bargain from that sort of shop!....

this is mine, added a section for cone spanners, and a 4l swarfega dispenser since..

[img] [/img]

on the plus side, I don't have to go out to a garage to use it - used to be my kitchen 😀

in what used to be the dining room 😉

(I also eat there, as its now a kitchen diner.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/5lab/4095626990/in/set-72157622782559052/ - my origional plan wasn't to swap the rooms, then I figured that having a workshop 3x the size of my kitchen was probably a little.. unnecessary)

Hmm, I'd been plotting a tool wall in the kitchen.

I really like the idea of a wall mounted workstand, too...

Those boards are nothing without shadows! 😉
Good effort though!
Lovin the kitchen conversion! already have the shed and garage under my control, am currently working on liberating other areas of the house though not expecting much success!

the wall mounted workstand is great (use some proper wall anchors to get it in) but pricey - over £200 for the park one (they only do a shop grade one, not a diy grade one). I bought it on ebay US and had it shipped over for about £150, and its very nice, but its quite a lot compared to floor mount options

Trouble with shadows is they don't give an option for moving stuff round when you get new tools - which is a monthly occurance for me. Might get round to that once the board's matured a little..

ps - the door that you can't see (behind the bike) from the workshop leads to what is officially the surfboard shaping room. Might have been the conservatory at some point.. 🙂

Weird; I am also in the process of creating my workshop:

My 'big' tools are in the box, but it is great to have a nice clean place to fiddle with dampers 🙂
