Odd one but thought it's worth an ask, as I've got nowt, short of jumping on a plane and doing it myself...

Would be to change a handwash heater under the sink. There'd be a HSE induction to complete on first visit, PPE required (boots, glasses, bump cap and orange - not yellow - bib), obvs qualified, insured and above board. Train in depot at Longsight.

Don't think I've seen such a random query on here but what ya got?

So random I thought it deserved a bump.

Is it your own train? If not, do Network Rail not have their own plumbers?

So many questions....

The HSE induction is how to survive a day in Longsight, yes?

When I've been over with Spanish colleagues, they always ask why the gutters are full of empty whips. You can count hundreds of them when you walk back to the hotel after work.
I always invent a little story as to why they're there!

Anyway, little bump for the morning crowd before I start looking at flights.
@morecashthandash - no, not my train, fortunately!

Empty whips? Have I led too sheltered a life?

Ah, yes. I've seen the detritus and was aware they were misused, but that's the extent of it.
