Has this been successful or beneficial for anyone? Â The changes in my neck of the woods just seem strange, Â I can no longer get a direct train to where I work (a couple of stops down the line) but I can get a direct train to Peterborough (128 miles away and in no way useful to the local train using population of commuters, school kids, OAPs and shoppers). Sorry Peterborough, I'm sure you are lovely but my local "big towns" would be more relevant 99.9% of the time. Â I guess I missed the consultation.
