Need a bit of advice.

A chap on Pinkbike has agreed to buy a set of forks off me.

Fantastic, however something it making me think it's a bit fishy.
1. He hasn't tried to knock me down on price or postage
2. Hasn't asked any additional questions or asked for extra pics
3. Only registered on Pinkbike on 22nd April

He is willing to pay by PayPal and cover the fees.

Should I be worried??
Anything else I can check on without loosing forks and wedge from a bogus claim through PP??

Dave

If you're not comfortable with the deal don't go through with it. If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish then it is probably fishy.

No need to rush is there?

Not really, but its the first proper interest I've had in them.

It's also the first item of value I've had to post. It could just be me overthinking it!!

Ask for his phone number and give him a call to talk him through service intervals or some rub that isn't to noteworthy as an excuse to ask some bikey questions and figure out if he is dodgy.

Cheers. Not a bad idea. I noticed he had 2 friends on Pinkbike in a different part of the country. Emailed one of them to ask if they know him or have done business with him. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid
