A friend has responsibility for a historic property. She'd like to make some changes. The building stone is distinctive, very local and not obtainable. There is a suitable disused quarry on the premises. It would be worked in a very artisan fashion, there is no vehicle access other than a powered barrow. The max take might be 20 T.
Would anyone know what rules and regs might apply?

its on her site? either just do it and if someone comes and says anything play stupid. or contact the local council. i would take all the stone i need in one day rather than over the period of the whole job.

Thanks, but she would need to fit within the rules. If there are any rules.
