did a sesrch as I know there are a few threads on this but came to nothing.

I'm after a 12x10 "workshop" rather than a shed so no windows needed but what i do need is something not so thin that you can easily walk through the walls. so sturdy, robust and well made to last a few years. will be insulating and securing it myself so doesn't need and interior frills.

any recommendations or experience?

Beast Sheds.

Had a "security" shed from them before we built the garage which lasted well.

Have a look at Tuin:

Loads more on the site and they deliver direct from Holland. Not cheap, but good quality

As above. Got a tuin for my bikes. It's nice and solid. But I never got round to putting in the floor. "Do you want a floor with it?" "Erm, yeah!" turns out not to have been the right answer, as the floor's in the loft, and I prefer bare screed in the shed. Sorry. Log cabin. So you can save a bit there.

Tiger sheds are always good.

A local supplier may be better value as the transportation costs are reduced. I can recommend Gary Paterson of Paterson Garden Buildings for the central belt of Scotland (I don't know where you are located OP). Loads of photos of supplied sheds on their Facebook page

I tried to order a tiger she'd years ago. Delivery date kept getting pushed back so I cancelled the order. Bit of a ball ache, glad I used the credit card. Bought from a local company in the end.

Saying that a friend has a tiger shed and he's happy with it.

Do a search for high_street_sheds_ltd on ebay - I have one of their 10x8 workshop sheds (bought last year) and I'm really pleased with it. They're based in the West Midlands and do free installation if you're within range.

We got one 3 years ago from Sheds Direct.
Told him the size and position of the door and windows and they made it. I paid the extra for delivery and assembly.

We've been very pleased with it.

Got a tiger shed for my son, was OK. Ordered one without a window and they delivered one with a window no biggie but not what was ordered.

I have one from these guys: https://www.northerngardensheds.co.uk/

Quite a lot of emails back and forth as I customised the shed to exactly how I wanted it. Friendly people, and delivery wasn't bad at all.

Seems a very solid shed, I am currently in the process of insulating inside and adding interior walls.
