[Closed] Pub Grub in Windermere or Bowness?

There's quite a few cheap but very few cheerful eateries in Windermere. Take a leisurely stroll to the watermill instead.

Angel Inn at Bowness gets good reviews from people I've spoke to, although never been myself. Go to the carvery in Bowness, its ace.

Wateredge Inn, Ambleside

Angel is good,but not so cheep for food. The spinnery in bowness is our fave at the moment, always a good steak and not too bad price wise for bowness.
As mentioned the carvery is probably the cheepest in town, not sure what the foods like though.
