LOVED THE ATOM. I can't think of words especially keeping up with a bloody Superbike.

Hate the star in the car thing now and the Jackass/Henry Rollings tattoo was a blatant and lame/pointless copy.

I love the Atom, even more than the R500 now. Oh I want one. WANT.

Saw the bit about the Yeti. Why is everyone (including Clarkson) ignoring the fact that it looks like something designed by motability?

so a car worth 150 grand is slightly quicker than a what 14 grand bike.

Looking carefully (And I've seen a few bike races in my time...) the rider wasn't giving it the full monty in the corners either. There was too much clear space between his feet and the ground. I think he'd either not had enough time to learn the track or it was too cold to go any faster on road tyres.

The race was pretty much as I expected though. Bike first off the line and pulled harder low down but BHP always wins at speed so the Atom reeled him in as they went faster and was able to outbrake the bike as it should have been able to. I do love that Atom though. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sienna Miller only marginally less appealling than the Atom

I've been looking at Atom prices since they came out and unfortunately they do not appear to be coming down in price second hand, but I think there is a big weighting list for new.

Although a nice car, I think it would be unusable on the road, 900bhp per tonne on a damp summers day would not be fun. Even the 250bhp/300 bhp models would be hard enough to drive even if they only do 0-60 in a slow 3.5 seconds.

According to MCN it was also too bumpy to get the power down.
