[Closed] PSA - Up to 90,000 Avios very cheaply

We have a shit load of avios point. Turns out that redeeming them for something useful is a lot harder than you might think. To the point where we might as well switch to a card with a better rewards system.

Only ever used them to buy snacks onboard on domestic flights, and beer/wine crates at christmas.

Looks like 9000 in the description despite the 90000 headline?

But yeah,, difficult to spend on flights if you have specific needs.  Limited seats and airports  to and from.. Also, last time I used some it was actually better value using them in part payment via BA rather than book a whole flight via Avios. I also saw a really good deal with part payment on first class.

Not sure how things will work now that Avios is transferring to BA Exec Club. I've got a lot of the stuff but doubt they'll remain the same value (though that varies all the time depending on average ticket price and its tricky to value).

Use them to upgrade, or for wine/beer as above. I have a well stocked cellar thanks to flying, and still have more Avioses than I can use.
