'Excellent' film on tonight very very dark but well worth watching. The acting in this is very good but be warned, it's dark. Oh, by the way did I mention it's dark?

Not enjoyable, but really very good indeed. Olivia Colman earns her fee a few times over. Outstanding performance.

Agreed, watched the whole film with a knotted stomach.
Incredible, and enforces my view that pretty much everything Paddy Considine is involved in is incredible

What's it about, I'm assuming noting to do with palaeontology.

Film title is explained in one scene but it has very little to do with the film and was a bit misleading.

Paddy Considine writes and directs with amazing performances from an outstanding cast. A brilliant and memorable movie but as others have said it is quite bleak.

"Joseph, a man plagued by violence and a rage that is driving him to self-destruction, earns a chance of redemption that appears in the form of Hannah, a Christian charity shop worker."

Ah yes, we got this from Lovefilm a while back. It was really rather good, albeit in a totally un-dinosaury and unspectacular way. It is dark but not that dark to look at (as in lighting) either.

I'm not sure anyone really thought it was a sequel to Jurassic Park.

Fantastic film, and only out-done by Nil By Mouth for grimness!

My girlfriend worked on this, she is also 'in it' very briefly.

Deffo don't watch if you want cheering up though.

I'd never seen Olivia Colman in anything else other than Peep Show before I saw this, and couldn't believe what a good actress she is. amazing.

Also, Eddie Marsan, as ever plays a complete psychopath in an incredibly understated way.

Incredibly good, but it's a hard film to watch.

You'd be surprised, I've heard accounts that people did walk out of cinema because there wasn't a T Rex in sight 😆
